This is an unprecedented security agreement between the U.S. and an Arab country. According to the presidential order, published today, 'The United States will regard any armed attack on the territory, sovereignty, or vital infrastructure of the State of Qatar as a threat to the peace and security of the United States.' The order further states: 'In the event of such an attack, the United States will take all appropriate and lawful measures – including diplomatic, economic, and if necessary, military measures – in order to defend the interests of the United States and the State of Qatar and to restore peace and stability.'"

So Qatar gets NATO Article 5 level protection, but Ukraine does not? This is raw corruption in action.
