This is a bit of a rant, but not a cheap one. I just think, we all deserve good things in life. And cheap things are rarely good. Unless we have so much good, that a bit of cheap is just another guilty pleasure.

it's a bit sad to accept that you are on your own. but it's also freeing

12.02.2026 12:11 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0but in a way, this is such a beautiful thing to be reminded of how books are actually made :)
12.02.2026 12:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Food is care. Food is attention. Food is love. Food is forplay. Men who offer me food are total winners.
12.02.2026 08:40 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0also: there's too much focus on native-english writers. While, like, the world of books is big and colourful.
10.02.2026 17:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0One of the benefits of having FAR TOO MANY books - a sweet surprise of discoveries. Today I found The Yellow Book: βStylish fin-de-siΓ¨cle stories, from the notorious magazine The Yellow Book, which scandalized the Victorians with its avant-garde decadence.β Oh, how happy this made me!

09.02.2026 10:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'm at the stage of life, where if someone is acting like an ass, i will be reacting like a bitch, telling them all what I think about them. But blasting a spicy story is also fun :)
09.02.2026 10:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The question is, do they really sell and for how long. It's hard enough to sell a good book, so to sell a bad one they'd have to either invest forward or i don't know, use some black magic :)
08.02.2026 21:02 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0he was a wise ass after all :)
08.02.2026 16:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0that's a pity! i hope there are also joyful moments planned into the week to make it lighterβοΈ
08.02.2026 16:53 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The best book to start reading me - Held.
Donβt we all sometimes desire to be simply held? In this short erotic story, I explore the pleasures and darker sides of getting lost in the arms of someone who seems too good to be for real.

i read it some years ago and loved :) have been thinking about that woman, actually, just some days before. modern japanese literature in general is mostly a really good treat - i don't read it too often, but haven't been disappointed yet. Try "Days at the Morisaki Bookshop" next

06.02.2026 17:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0for us it was don't ask for permission and just do, regret later. Not the best way to go about stranger's ice cream, but in professional/creative life experience comes with doing. Collecting rejections sounds just like a new way to name procrastination
06.02.2026 11:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0cha, it's never just a book!
05.02.2026 15:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0just watched this on lunch break today, incredible performance. and very timely
05.02.2026 15:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I had this with some french authors, like JMG Le ClΓ©zio, Patrick Modiano or others. Mainly my friend had them in his library and the language was easy enough for an avg level. Now I'm tempted to read all by M. Duras, but postponing it to a calmer period and after I lower the amount of unread books.
05.02.2026 15:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is a reflection on the poem I wasn't able to make and on a story i am not able to write. I should practice singing the body electric, learning from Whitman and the others, but my mind is more interested in desire that goes beyond bodies.

Starting to write is one of the most free things in the world already :) People forget that it's not enough to write a story that follows some algorithm for it to be a good story. It's only a pity readers have to go through increased amounts of shitty content
05.02.2026 14:44 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0oh, well then yes, it might be someone who thinks there's money in cheating the reader :/ too bad
05.02.2026 07:24 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0such a great story :) actually, that's how my story develops - that there's a third person who comes to ask for a shelter. Only I haven't embraced the nordic coldness fully. thanks for a reminder on cultural specifics :) (Though the Norwegians are know are all very social)
04.02.2026 19:07 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I have a plan to write a story about skiing in Norway and getting stuck in the cabin due to snow storm.
At the same time, I'm working on attracting readers to my first six erotic stories through here a bit, but mainly on substack. Which is an adventure of its own.
Maybe that's someone who's not good (or slow) in marketing / focused on kindle.
As I'm on this just for a couple of months, writing + getting publicity + finding sales + developing an online presence takes energy &time. And then SEO catches up with a delay. Frustrating.
Hope the book was good!
oh, but it's also fun :) sharing fantasies with others
