Agreeing with how shitty this all looks, but commenting to say my understanding is Netflix's subtitling technically can't handle anything other than top or bottom positioned subs, so you never get localized text right next to or beneath JP text, like you used to w aegisub

No idea if it means anything, its probably spurious, but a fan-account posted the English TWST dub trailer (completely out of sync lol) and it has almost as many views on YT as the JA trailer on the official D+ account- in half the time. 👀

One final thing, at the risk of being a huge tease... my biggest question going into this project was whether we would find a Riddle who could nail "that" scene. All I'll say is... I think you'll be very happy.

For clarity, the Monday announcement will be of our leads (Yuken, Grim, Crowley, Heartslabyul) and all NRC students. The trailer is expected to be available on the Disney+ 'Coming Soon' page that morning as well.

The entire team is grateful and humbled to work on a project with as much careful crafting of its world as TWST. We know fans have high expectations and we sincerely hope you will enjoy watching. But even if you are a dub-fan, we encourage you to watch the JA too. It's fantastic.

The TWST Anime English Dub Cast will be announced on Monday 10/13. This title has been an enormous effort, with so many to thank.
