I’m not naive enough to not realise money facilitated lots of this.. but it takes more than that… it takes the foolishness of hope to the n’th degree and faith in the good left inside us all & the anger to roar in the face of violation of rights.
Shoutout to those who worked with me on the case of the girl who was refused emergency care for 3rd degree burns on 90% of her body & wouldn’t be seen without ID. We campaigned till the law was changed (only a small change to 1st 48 hours, but still!)

Shoutout out 2 the farm owner who read over 100 of my desperate status pleas trying to find temporary shelter for two 17 year old street girls who were turned away from all institutions 4 bureaucratic reasons & welcomed her them in her home - 8yrs later they’re still there!
