There’s nothing quite like an Adam Curtis documentary, and Shifty is quite spellbinding. It’s dripping in nostalgia, but there’s a clarity and wit to the storytelling, even at its dreamiest/ most nightmarish.
Extra points for the opening scene in Episode 1.
