I think I'm mutuals with quite a lot of archaeologists/historians, etc. So does anyone know... if you examined enough intact skeletons, would you be able to usually deduce assumed gender from the brow ridges, purely by looking? Or is that the kind of thing you'd always need to measure?
hahaaah
Yeah, it's definitely a "Middle East" problem, and not colonial intervention and violence, genocide, ecocide, exploitation of resources, dispensational premillennialism, absurd Sykes-Picot land borders, the fossil fuel lobby, or anything else. It's just us. We're the problem.
It fuelled the age of Vikings…The Basque fishermen allegedly were fishing for it, in the vast cod fisheries outside the gulf of st Laurence, before Columbus was a thought in his mother’s mind…
And what's the connection with Greece's 25th of March Celebration?

Unfortunately this is the first time in history we've been told to fear young people and their dangerous ideas for our future. There's definitely no other examples of every generation tutting and quivering about the generations directly below them.
Cue:
"But Zack Polansky doesn't have any actual policies, and the Greens are nimbysssssssss!!!!"
I'm trying to think who this idiocy is for, who would say: I wasn't going to vote Labour but now they've blocked a clearly exceptionally bright Sudanese woman from doing a postgraduate course in computational biology at Cambridge, I'm all in?

No you psychopaths. You have to stop attacking defenceless neighbouring countries and bombing cultural sites and farmland, killing women and children and let sovereign nations be sovereign.
Bloodthirsty barbarians...jeez...! when will this stop??!?!?!

There are other reasons for the UK government not to award or continue Palantir contracts but this statement of intent by its CEO must surely be decisive?
A procurement crisis absolutely everyone saw coming but which the Department of Health and MoD will now have to tackle, with zero good outcomes – as they've both now signed contracts and have technical reliance on Palantir.
A company being awarded UK Government contracts👇🏻
Powerful new column by @georgemonbiot.bsky.social in today's Guardian:
"We must resist the anti-net zero conspiracy of the ultra-rich"
George cites analysis by the "indispensable Carbon Brief" in his concluding section...
As Voltaire said, the problem with common sense is that it is not so common.
