That’s what my MIL said after a visit to France two summers ago. She said getting there is expensive af, but once you’re there, it’s much more affordable. She spent 20 euros on a steak meal & bottle of wine. You can’t even get a burger here for $20 lol.

What is there to like about the Dems? Not a backbone to be found! Nary a moral compass! Just 98% mealy-mouthed, feckless opportunists who throw entire constituencies under the bus to score political points with people who won’t even vote for them.

Honestly, it’s been an absolute nightmare. Many have been “reevaluating their priorities” for almost 2 years. We lost our largest funder + other smaller funders, had to lay off staff, dipped into reserves, etc. Climate funders have almost completely evaporated or shifted to Asia. It’s fucking bleak.

I thought the new format was refreshing & was pleasantly surprised that the majority of them did at least marginally okay. Only a handful of true flops. The previous 4 seasons or more have been atrocious, so I’m grading on a curve.

I counted 25 on my walk with the dog the other day here in Spokane, WA.

This has been happening for a year. Here in Spokane, they’ve been knocking on people’s doors & saying they think they hit the person’s car. Once people come outside to see if their car is ok, they get taken.

It’s so clear he’s filtering out anyone with opposing views, which is anti-democratic!
