Everything points that way, so my cynicism says 1-0 Spurs.
It feels very unlikely to me. Even if City and Palace both go out of Europe, it would only give fans 2.5 weeks notice, and the game would clash with European matches. If they are both out they can put it in any midweek, so no need to force it in early.
I remember when this happened to Spurs last season and they were away to City. I took a hit to bring Haaland in as he would be up against a CB pair of Ben Davies and Dragusin. Spurs ended up winning 0-4.
100% agree that the issue is the underperformance of premiums and general reduction in quality of attacking open play football… DC intro just happened to coincide with this. The change in the league made DC more powerful than they anticipated so pricing is a bit off, but DC itself not the issue IMO
That’s fair. I like the idea of wildcarding in 35 to target the last 4 GWs and will have a transfer to use each of those weeks. That said, still undecided
I think the best alternative is FH33 and then WC35… if you have a lot of Liverpool and United already, this works really well.
Surprised to see so many content creators now touting FH33 and WC35. I think it’s his could become the mainstream strategy. In typical fashion, this is pushing me back to FH34. #FPL
Fair enough. PSG are certainly a good team. Not sure the result had anything to do with styles of play in Ligue 1 compared to the prem. Premier league teams get beat by teams from other leagues every year.
Why are they only able to incorporate tactically advanced patterns of play in the round of 16? And isn’t it the same squads of players?
Prem has more games than Bundes and Ligue 1 plus an extra cup comp than all.
Not sure that’s the case given 5 of the top 8 teams were prem and all 6 got through to the knockouts. If anything it points to the gruelling schedule showing through.
He’s had 6 starts in the last 10 and some early subs. Not sure I would trust him.
He has the fixtures, but I don’t trust his minutes at all!
It’s the third forward spot, even if you go with JP and Haaland who face each other in 32, I don’t see any other options that double if people are trying to stack a BB.
Good shout. I’ve flip flopped about 10 times already. May just roll 😅
Question for those considering WC32, BB33 strategy: who would your front 3 be based on current predicted doubles?
Feel the exact same. Was considering Salah, but may go Wirtz as a compromise. It has 1-0 Spurs all over it.
💯
If wildcarding in 32, leaving BB until 36 is risky as there will be unforeseen issues. Also 36 will be a small double, so you will be doubling with single game weekers.
For me, unsure if Haaland starts West Ham given the schedule and the fact he appears to be nursing something. Then he blanks. I have no money tied up, so feels like an easy player to move out for the blank… Salah on pens and playing Spurs next, but he looks way off it, so I hear you.
I might sell him and not even get Salah at this point
1-0 down and subbed at 60 is not a great look. Salah’s form is the one thing putting me off selling Haaland.
Thanks! I think WC32, BB33 can absolutely still work out, but I like to go different if I can and see higher upside this way.
I think 33 could still be a good option if not using FH, just not worth WCing into to try to optimise.
Yes, unfortunately. If I had it, I would probably TC36 and BB and in a single or in 33, but not WC into it.
My early thoughts are that BB33 isn’t worth wildcarding into a worse team in 32 for, and holding those players long term.
So I’m looking at selling Haaland for Salah now and then FH33, WC35, BB36 if City win or FH34, WC35, BB36 if Liverpool win. 🤔 🍟 #FPL
I think so! But is often two steps forward and one step back with us!
I think your best option is probably to sell Man City players for Liverpool players, then either FH in 33 or 34 depending whether Liverpool or City double. Likely need a couple of hits to maximise doubles and just BB whenever it looks okay. I don’t think the BB33 will be that strong.
I like BB 33, FH34, WC35 as an option
No DGW for Man United or Brentford
Ekitike and Bruno?
