The main issue for me is that we've had so long to prepare but we just plough on regardless until eventually it's too late.

I don't disagree with any of that (and you clearly know more than me) but my main point is that we haven't really tried, and we've had decades to prepare.

It just strengthens my belief that humankind's self-destruction (and the destruction of so much else) is built into its DNA.

Lots of deep rumbling in the skies above and around our house this morning. Sounds very much like activity at RAF Fairford. Surreal to live in such a beautiful part of the country whilst feeling that death and destruction is being planned nearby.

Just had one of those professional highs when you present a daring new brand strategy & identity to a client that completely disrupts their risk-averse industry & requires some real guts to execute...and they say yes.

A fabulous way to end the week & an antidote to all the crap that's going on.

It's all just very depressing.
