Oh man that is rough. I lived near there for 5 years when I was a kid. Aged 8 through 12 or thereabouts. My dad’s family is all there or near there. No this is my first time across the Atlantic. Grew up in car-dependent southeastern US suburbia, sold my car and moved to NYC 6 months ago. So London is by far the least car dependent, cleanest, quietest city I’ve ever seen which I know is hilariously sad

Wildest bit about London so far is how few cars there are. I knew this but seeing it is different.

NYC has millions even though it’s the least car dependent place in the US, but it’s awe-inducing to walk around a place that truly doesn’t prioritize cars. I can’t go back
