I really struck a nerve here. I stand by what I said.

This is the darkest time in our nation since the Civil War. The right is radicalized at Berlin 1941 levels and many Americans are celebrating cruelty and lawlessness masquerading as power.

It is time for an awakening of morality, decency and public resistance to evil.
