While Tom Homan was trying to grab headlines this morning ICE was again circling our schools. They’ve been out all morning and no “drawdown” is enough until every single one of these agents is out of our state and DHS is abolished.

A8 #ParkChat I love your pups! Mateo comes w/me a lot. I use a Gulpy (it’s so old- on its 3rd dog!). Basically a trough that screws onto its bottle and folds up so no bowl. Mateo loves running water so it squeezing out is fun for him.

A5 #ParkChat Backpacking the KalalauTrail in Kauai it was very muddy & I kept slipping and falling and got really in my head & feared if Crawlers Ledge was that bad I wouldn’t make it. Luckily I persisted w/help from hikers heading back saying the ledge was way better than where I was struggling

A4 #ParkChat Last May in Dominica, our one of our planned hikes got the kibosh as the guide said his ppl by that trail said it was a raging flood full of debris. We still did Boiling Lake but it was also a mudfest & rainy. But great!

A2 #ParkChat GPS is a savior for me nav-wise. I’ve tried learning triangulation & it breaks my brain. Weatherwise, having spent a lot of time w/family in Colorado, the forecast in mtns is often ish so watching the clouds etc is key to getting off the peaks.
