/ a general sense of aimlessness in regards to his work, his schooling. still being hung up on a girl who doesn't like him back. his family. unaddressed stress, trauma... yeah.

/ steve makes his role as robin's support because it is fulfilling and he cares for her. but also it lowkey allows steve to avoid the bigger problems in his life.
