Because many people see a white guy who talks about the Bible and assume he is a moderate. It’s why the GOP didn’t want him to be the nominee.

Colbert has interviewed both Talarico and Crockett but I guess we should be mad at him about that
Republicans are spending money to help Crockett be the nominee. Is it because they think she will vote like Fetterman, or is it because they see her as the easiest to defeat?
So going on Rogan means Bernie Sanders and Talarico are like Fetterman? I don’t think anyone is going to be agree with you on that.
Not the music I was expecting! Good choice!
The GOP's own polling before the Colbert interview was:
Paxton loses to Talarico by 3%
Paxton beats Crockett by 1%
Cornyn beats Talarico by 3%
Cornyn beats Crockett by 7%
That’s why Republican insiders have been working to help Crockett win the nomination.
Can you admit that Republicans worked to get Crockett in the race? A simple yes or no is all I’m asking for.
Do black voters love Republicans? If so, they should vote for the candidate Republicans are trying to get nominated, Jasmine Crockett.
The GOP's own polling, before the Colbert interview:
Paxton loses to Talarico by 3%
Paxton beats Crockett by 1%
Cornyn beats Talarico by 3%
Cornyn beats Crockett by 7%
Which is why Republican insiders are spending money to help Crockett & Cornyn win their nominations.
Republicans are spending money trying to make Crockett the Dem nominee. They are the opposite of worried about her
Yes, Talarico is the perfect person to be speaking out about this.
What did you conclude when you found out republicans are spending millions helping Crockett win the nomination?
You know that republicans are spending much more trying to help Crockett win the Dem nomination, right?
Yes!
Talarico is the perfect candidate to criticize the pervasive “thoughts and prayers” non-solution.
I understand that senators can buck their party, but I do not understand the logic of being so antagonistic about it.
People who like Crockett underestimate how her insults (making fun of Abbott's handcap, her "mediocre white boys" quip, Latino voters having a "slave mentality" etc) are going to play statewide in TX. She is a fine candidate for her former district, but she will lose TX.
Talarico is exactly who Dems should want speaking out about this.
