The more of these I watch, the clearer it is that the kidnappers are often unsure of themselves. They generally get away with it because resistance is minimal. I honestly think if half a dozen aggressive white guys showed up and told them to fuck off, they'd run away.

We support the right of people to advance their interests in courts of law when they have been wronged. We reject the notion that the U.S. government can punish lawyers and law firms who represent certain clients or punish judges who rule certain ways. We cannot accept government actions that seek to twist the scales of justice in this manner.
We reject efforts to undermine the courts and the profession. We will not stay silent in the face of efforts to remake the legal profession into something that rewards those who agree with the government and punishes those who do not. Words and actions matter. And the intimidating words and actions we have heard and seen must end. They are designed to cow our country’s judges, our country’s courts and our legal profession.
There are clear choices facing our profession. We can choose to remain silent and allow these acts to continue or we can stand for the rule of law and the values we hold dear. We call upon the entire profession, including lawyers in private practice from Main Street to Wall Street, as well as those in corporations and who serve in elected positions, to speak out against intimidation.

@velshi.bsky.social Hey I just wanted you to know that I find the moving v on the right side of the screen when you have a guest on distracting. It might just be the state of my mind in these times but I found it pulling my attention off your guest. Maybe it's just me, but I think you could lose it.

The FDIC Is Being Dismantledβ€”Most Won’t Realize Until It’s Too Late They are dismantling deposit protections before you noticeβ€”and making sure the wealthy move their money first. By the time the system locks down, you won’t have time to. Here’s how to get ahead of it.

Teachers union files lawsuit over Trump’s crackdown on race, DEI in schools A new lawsuit accuses the Education Department of trying to rewrite civil rights law when it threatened to pull federal school funding over mentions of race.

Bottom line- you morally can’t ask teachers to erase history, and that is what the Trump administration is doing. Learn from history, don’t erase it. So.. educators are fighting back. www.washingtonpost.com/education/20...

Now, the USPS is preparing to push back as Trump moves to dissolve its leadership and bring the independent agency under his administration’s control. America, this cannot be allowedβ€”protecting the USPS is essential.

Please share this and call Congress.

The only thing I can relate to is driving in wind out west and feeling like our van could just roll down the road like a kicked can. I imagine it's going to be about the wind speed of the gust they were caught in relative to their position and the wing acting like a sail.
