I donโ€™t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make whatโ€™s happening now look like childโ€™s play. And people are disappearing.

Evergreen: Republicans Just Sold Out Working-Class Americans So Oligarchs Can Hoard Even More Wealth Republicans just jammed through one of the most catastrophic bills in a generation.

Working-class Americans may not have had a seat at the table, but they will remember who slammed the door in their faces.

Never forget who is responsible for this betrayal.

๐ŸšซYour power bills will soar.
๐ŸšซPrices at the pump will climb.
๐ŸšซHundreds of thousands of jobs will be lost.
๐ŸšซOur air will get dirtier.
๐ŸšซAnd the climate crisis that already threatens our way of life will accelerate.

Working-class Americans donโ€™t have armies of lobbyists. They have elected officials.

And this week, those officials sold them out so a few hundred oligarchs and ultra-wealthy Americans could hoard even more wealth.

03.07.2025 18:55 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Why did Republicans do it? Because Big Oil and dying coal barons saw cheaper clean energy as a threat to their profits. So they spent billions buying power in Washington. That investment just massively paid off.

03.07.2025 18:55 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

And hereโ€™s the kicker: the people who will suffer most are the same working-class and rural voters who put their faith in Trump and Republicans to lower costs. Instead, Republicans sold them out.

03.07.2025 18:55 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

On top of all that:
๐Ÿฅซ Food assistance slashed
๐Ÿง‘โ€โš•๏ธ Health care ripped away from 17 million people
๐Ÿ“‰ The entire health system destabilized

Republicans just declared war on working-class Americans.

The result?

As climate-fueled heatwaves and power-hungry AI demand push the grid to the brink, Republicans voted for MORE blackouts and MORE pollution.

03.07.2025 18:55 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

That means:

โšก๏ธHalf the gridโ€™s future capacityโ€”gone. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Electricity bills up $110 next year, $400/yr within a decade. ๐Ÿ’ผ Nearly 1 million jobs destroyed.

The bill repeals clean energy investments, killing the cheapest, fastest-to-build power sources, putting critical science-based climate targets out of reach.

๐ŸงตRepublicans just passed one of the most catastrophic bills in a generation.

It raids trillions from working families and hands the cash to billionaires and Big Oilโ€”while slashing clean energy, food aid, and health care. Hereโ€™s what you need to know โฌ‡๏ธ

The gif is of the classic former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi meme, "There's no point in saying good morning because it certainly is not one." But instead of "good morning" it says "happy july 4th"

So, it reads, "There's no point in saying happy July 4th because it certainly is not one."

Trump and Republicans in Congress rammed this bill down America's throats by this arbitrary deadline of July 4th, presumably because the more Americans find out about it, the more they hate it. But they had to kill the clean energy industry and get that tax break for their Big Oil donors and billionaire benefactors who bought-and-paid-for these politicians, otherwise they would be big mad.

Truly wild this is where we are. It really sucks, ya'll. We can't let them get away with it.

BREAKING: Big Oil bought politicians in Congress willing to spike your bills, torch your job, and pollute your kidsโ€™ lungs to squeeze out a little more profit.

Republicans just cashed the check and sold working-class Americans out to a handful of billionaires.

โžก๏ธ The bottom line: ๐Ÿ“ˆ Trump's energy agenda is built to RAISE your costs. โฌ…๏ธ

It's not about grid reliability. Or American jobs.

It's a fossil fuel loyalty programโ€“โ€“paid for by you.

And his "One Big Beautiful" price hike has yet to come.

Ironically, Trump's fake "energy emergency" risks creating a real one.

By sidelining clean energy and forcing utilities to rely on more expensive fossil fuels to power our homesโ€“โ€“just as electricity demand surgesโ€“โ€“he's driving costs up.

And you'll be the one paying them.

Trump announces new auto tariffs in a major trade war escalation | CNN Business President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced 25% tariffs on all cars shipped to the United States, a significant escalation in a global trade war.

Trump's will-they-won't-they tariffs also could raise the price of a new car by $5,000 to $15,000!

That's because he slapped a brand new tax on imported cars and parts (half of all cars bought in the U.S. are imported btw). www.cnn.com/2025/03/26/e...
