mission impossible 2 is so far mostly a snooze fest occasionally interrupted by most beautiful woman alive thandiwe newton offering a reminder that she is in this film

i’m looking forward to the sequels but yeah, knowing that they’re all more conventional action flicks is a bit of a bummer given how much i loved the weird spy thriller/heist de palma flair in the first one. although i have heard dead reckoning blends the two tones a bit!
