Best get it drunk up soon. Advice to live by, I reckon 😆
In seriousness, I’ve got Loire rosés that are 10 years old and still fine.
Bramhall was the same: 30 mins either way gets you into either the bright lights of central Manchester or out into the wilds of the Peak District.
Yes, I think I’ve been spoiled by France. It’s only 2 hours from Cambridge and there’s very little of it that isn’t worth exploring.
Plus - generally - the further you drive (from Calais) the better it gets. So it’s always worth the trip.
Same here - I feel my main job as a parent is to help my kids do better than me and not have to make all the same mistakes.
They get to make mistakes of their own, of course.
Thanks - need to get to know Spain and its geography a lot better.
Main challenges seem to be:
- it’s a long-ish drive to get there
- it’s big, even once you’ve arrived
- the gaps between the interesting bits are quite large
Maybe a retirement project to travel around it more?

I fail to see what the fuss is all about with Pinot, but Nebbiolo is the Pinot I can get into.
Don't see much of it over here; need to drive over to Italy and stock up.
Been very impressed with everything I've had from Hill-Smith.

Commuter train one morning, young woman dashes to get in as doors are shutting, she slips and falls on the platform, loses one shoe onto the tracks but gets up and into the train.
Only then does she realise she is on a train to London with one shoe and the other in Cambridge.
Looks fab - Champagne and sushi is a great match.
Enjoy Portugal - we found great wines for just a few Euros there; even cheaper than France or Spain.
Plus food, architecture, pasteis de nata, trams, coffee, markets.
