i took a similar approach to boyfriend with pico's design, didn't change too much in the end. i mainly just wanted to add a little bit of spice to their designs to fit in with my style a bit more (while also blending some other designs' elements in pico's case), i think they look pretty neat :]

we did phonotropes in college recently, iβm pretty happy with what i tuned out so hereβs that. i intended for it to be 12 fps but it ended up being filmed closer to 24 i think, Oops! still, i think it looks cool

i only heard the original song (a nameless girl - lg pm325) a few days ago and i did a cover one or two days after LOL, oops. i ended up covering it with the plok instruments because i had used the guitar as the lead and thought it could be fun to do.

Still though, this library is great and if you're looking to incorporate modding into your GameMaker game then I'd recommend using this for its image loading and managing, I've been using it since 2023 and it's done me well!

the main thing i've been doing since is art, and on that front i've been doing a bunch of character design finalising and getting work done on character skins for the story mode. i'm hoping i can show them off soon, but i feel it's a bit too early to do so at the minute. maybe next update post?

Each of the areas could of had other games integrated into them as well in a similar way to Frisk and Flowey getting into them. Said integrations would range from characters getting in there, to gameplay styles and mechanics. The main list of games are as follows: The Fake Undertale "Remake" section, Escaping The Prison, Puyo Puyo Fever (probably based on DS, GBA, or Dreamcast? Any version that isn't 3D for simplicities sake LOL), Sonic.EXE (the original game), Doki Doki Literature Club (playing like a hybrid of DDLC's visual novel elements and Riddle School's point and click elements), Super Mario War, Deltarune Chapter 2, and the 2013 UNDERTALE Demo. There's also a note at the bottom of the screenshot, explaining how these picks (along with the games that would be joined in with them) were never properly final and could change, but at the time that was the plan I was going with. Along with that, there's also a Super Mario War/SMB3 All-Stars styled Frisk sprite I had made a while back as a concept, lying in a conga line of 0smw Marios. There was a newer edit made of them but that was with the help of someone else and I'd rather not show it off without asking, which I don't feel like doing, so Bleh!). A Flowey looking off to the right and a "Greenman" can be seen below near the centre as well.
i would like to continue this game, i had a good amount of ideas for it and i would love to see it come into fruition because if it was real then it could be one of the stupidest and most fever-dream-like UNDERTALE fangames out there LOL. i'm pretty much a one person show though, and with- (3/4)

I'd show more a newer GameMaker update seems to have broken the dialogue system a bit so it crashes when i try to pick any option LOL. Regardless, in the screenshot, there is a small health bar given to Frisk, as well as an icon of them. this choice was made to give more room for additional partners (Flowey and Chara, originally you were actually going to have an alternate version of Papyrus as a partner, but that was dropped as I wasn't sure how well it'd work into the game, or what he could provide in this case) to slot in alongside them. the left side of the screen is meant to have a TP bar, akin to Deltarune, but I never got it implemented as attack patterns themselves were only partially implemented at this stage (it Is in the battle UI concept art though). It's also worth noting with this screenshot that the game uses a native resolution of 320x240 instead of 640x480, ain't that neat? i did that to try and eliminate mixels, as i thought they just kinda looked ugly all around and given that this project was meant to be a "Remake" of UNDERTALE, I thought it'd be a good opportunity to make things just a little less icky looking art-wise

Michael, and the "Greenman", were planned to appear in the game as foes you would encounter along the way. The former would be someone you'd always see on any playthrough, and the latter would be hiding in the shadows, waiting to be found. Besides those two, this would be around the moment where Frisk and Flowey would escape from the base confines of the "Remake", utilising the unexplored balcony that Toriel comes back shopping from to fall out of bounds and into the game's test rooms. You would then find Chara as a test NPC, which would then lead to the Chara narrating for you pretty much possessing their own body and becoming themselves again
as seen in the first picture, i was working on programming the game for a bit before i eventually paused the project to work on Boll Mini (another currently canned project). i had reused an engine i was making a year prior for a different fangame, further developing it, here's some ingame bits (2/4)

A small doodle I did when initially coming up with the idea of the game, with a small, squished, and chibi looking Frisk (with Flowey, again, wrapped around them. He's looks like he's frustrated and skeptical about his surroundings... said surroundings being a big green-ish canvas with random junk on it. Frisk is shown to be walking and looking as inexpressive as ever.
This is concept art of a neutral final boss for the game, where Frisk and Flowey find themselves in the 2013 demo of UNDERTALE. They're going up against an all powerful, script using (thanks to deprecated modding features Game Maker 8 is home to), and intimidating "Frisk" that lives in the demo. The design for Demo Frisk showcases a middle split between Frisk's usual appearance with the blue and purple striped get up and brown hair, and an old piece of Toby Fox concept art's rendition of Frisk (named "NESS", or "HERO", judging by the stats) with their MSpaint light blue and saturated yellow clothing, large sword, bow, and black hair. There's doodles in the bottom right of the picture of a confused and annoyed looking Chara, and two Flowey doodles. One of the Floweys look smug while the other is defaulting his usual smile. Lastly, the sprites for Frisk, Chara, and Flowey for the "Remake" portion of the game (the starting Ruins) are in the bottom left of the canvas, aiming to be sprites of the characters that are a bit more up to the standards of Deltarune's sprites over UNDERTALE's
a while ago (august, i think?) i had the idea for an undertale fangame based off of #deltatraveler. the game would've tried to pretend that it was an "unfinished undertale remake", and end up being an adventure following frisk and flowey trying to get back to the actual undertale. (1/4)

lastly, i've been working on some new gamemodes, i've got one mostly implemented atm (just needs some extra sprites drawn for it), and a few others conceptualised recently with some assets drawn out for them.
i'm really excited to get them all made, but they'll take a while for sure
