I can’t have a bunch of fruit in it because I’m diabetic
furs.social/@Rycochet/11...
But I don’t WANT to eat a bowl of sugar free yogurt
Oh seriously it’s so awful. It really is.
And I hope you like that book!
Honestly that sounds like a meme game people would play
We picked this one
9:45 am : selecting a curve to park ourselves at and root for our friend who’s racing
Omg I remembered those books just the other day!
“Maybe we shouldn’t go considering the price of gas,” he said last night as we were filling the tank
“Maybe we should definitely go because it could’ve the last roadtrip for a while,” I replied
4:29 am: heading out on a short roadtrip to see the rally races
Heh
It used to cost max 100 soles to fill up my 1981 vw beetle but that’s going up for sure lol
So… do y’all in the USA still have unchanged gas prices?
Because our gas prices here in peru went up today by about 4 soles a gallon or more than $1.25, to around 16.50 soles for regular or about $5 US.
We get diesel from Venezuela but gasoline from Iraq via Ecuador, in addition to Peruvian
OK, my question is how is getting information that you have to do extra work to verify actually useful? I mean, I could just make shit up.
Oh no I assure you being myself draws drama from Trumpists lol
And really, what was wrong with using a dictionary as a dictionary
That’s exactly what I’m getting at. There’s audience I rejected for my work. It’s just a fact of life. I don’t exist in a vacuum and neither does my work.
I super agree with this even at the same time as I am deeply aware you can’t form an audience in the social media era without the parasocial BS. This means you have to put your ideals into practice and know that affects your business.
Yep. Andean spinners routinely ply 500g and up on a spindle! But, as noted, they’re highly skilled up.
Haha!

1. Depends what you’re spinning — for high twist fine yarns the hand spindle is often faster than the flyer device, like actually faster
2. Bobbins and flyers have firm limits how much you can pack on but a spindle depends how you build your cop
I know it’s fashionable to disrespect the Holy Roman Empire, the Byzantine Empire, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, and the Ottoman Empire. But these things worked out ok until they didn’t. For a longer period of time than, say, the United States of America
Anyway that theoretical laptop upgrade cash is just gonna go to medical bills and I’m totally salty about it because also waiting for lab results is like one of my biggest anxiety triggers
Gluten-free is often very high carb lol
Yeah, I have a full blood work up in progress results on that tomorrow so we’ll see and maybe I’m gonna end up with a med change
I do have weight I can’t lose, I can’t seem to drop below 70 kg which is about 155 pounds which is at the pretty much exact top end of BMI normal even though I think BMI is bullshit
Oh, for real the fucking carbs
Considering that diabetes is very common as compared to actual gluten intolerance, I think it’s funny that so many restaurants are careful with gluten-free shit but there’s no like diabetic friendly options on menus
“But you don’t look diabetic”
Lady I have thinning hair and dry skin with flaky patches I don’t know what other things look diabetic
You should come over and we’ll go eat fruit
Or papayas. Papayas here are tasty. Not my favorite fruit but there definitely for eating.
Exactly. Nobody here would buy a lot of the bullshit fruit and veg that is sold in supermarkets in the states.
We export a lot of our production but by the time it gets to its destination it isn’t great anymore.
One time I accidentally bit into a banana in the USA and I thought I was going to barf, but I forced myself to chew and swallow that bite.
Here in Peru all our fruit is pretty good which is why we export it.
