I realise owning music might be the most ethical way but I value access to a wide range too much to not have a source like streaming.

I'm technically still on it because I have been getting it for cheap from a friend's family plan but given that's ending soon I'll have to move.

I don't know if it is that bad, I used YouTube music for a short while and I thought that was dreadful.

Ethics might be a concern but I'm not convinced…

Nothing too surprising in Spotify wrapped. I don't think it was a "discover new music" year for me, seeing Carpenter Brut live at Radar Festival was a highlight.

They sound like very minor complaints in the face of "there's evidence this guy fucked a horse", I'm not gonna be distracted by that nonsense and I'm gonna talk about the horse fucking because I don't want that in my community.

As for the source, I'm not sure what issues people might have with dog patch but they broke the original 2018 zoosadism leaks and the evidence there was sufficient to see people sent to prison; to me that means it's clearly credible.

I think the strategy from their side is to stay quiet and hope it all blows over.

I spoke to one person involved who said they wouldn't "dignify the accusations with a response" but like, you should mate, because the evidence is pretty smoking gun.

I'm not sure that's how it's organised. Afaik there's two directors and it's otherwise a private company so the only way to get rid of him would be for him to relinquish control and be bought out. Or that might not be how it actually works. 🙃
