Happy Thanksgiving, Delaware. I’m grateful for the people who make this state feel like home: our farmers, first responders, entrepreneurs, teachers, and every family that helps make our communities stronger.

Lauren and I are praying for their recovery, and for their families who should be preparing for Thanksgiving, not rushing to their bedside.

While we learn more, we're grateful for the fast actions of all first responders in keeping DC residents safe.

The shooting of two West Virginia National Guard members in Washington, D.C. today is beyond horrifying.

Our guardsmen and women are dedicated to protecting and serving all Americans, regardless of politics, and they deserve our respect, not our hate and violence.

When Washington shut down, Delaware didn’t wait. We kept SNAP benefits funded because families rely on them to put food on the table. In our state, we take care of our own, especially when times get tough.

His service, leadership and commitment to public safety have strengthened our state and earned the gratitude of communities across Delaware.

Congratulations, Lt. Deveney, and thank you for your decades of dedication to the First State.

Honored to be at Delaware State Police Troop 6 Headquarters to recognize Lt. Douglas Deveney as he completed his walkout ceremony, marking the end of a remarkable 29-year career with the State Police.

Every Delawarean deserves to live with dignity and without fear.

On Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honor the trans lives taken by violence and reaffirm our commitment to protecting and uplifting our transgender community.

Trump’s Big Bill isn’t so beautiful for Delaware. Washington’s tax changes would have cost our state $400M.

That's why I was proud to sign legislation to opt Delaware out of those federal changes to protect state services.

I’ll always put our state first.

Because your access to care should never be defined by your geography. It should be defined by need.

Strong communities start with strong healthcare.

That’s why we’re proposing a historic investment to transform rural health across Delaware; expanding access, lowering costs, and growing the workforce to improve outcomes for families in every corner of our state.

When Washington shut down, Delaware didn’t wait.

We stepped up to make sure families still had the food assistance they rely on, because in our state, we look out for one another.

Keeping Delawareans safe, healthy, and financially secure will always be our top priority.

Affordable, high-quality healthcare shouldn’t be this hard. But Congress needs to work together before costs spike for millions of families.

In Delaware, we’re staying focused on what matters: making sure every hardworking resident can get the care they need at a price they can afford.

Through EDGE 2.0 and new federal SSBCI investments, we’re helping them buy equipment, grow their teams, and keep opportunity close to home.

Thank you to everyone who pitched, presented, and showed up to support them. This is what it looks like when a state of neighbors invests in its own.

From a modern market in Milton to brain health in Dover, from battery materials and electro-agriculture in Wilmington to ag-tech and fintech in Newark, these entrepreneurs are turning ideas into paychecks and pride for their neighbors.

Last night at the EDGE 2.0 awards, we saw exactly why small businesses are the heart of Delaware’s economy.

The shutdown is over. Healthcare is an f'in mess.

Can we focus on affordable, high quality healthcare for all hardworking Americans, please?

Not just today, but all year long, we honor you and recommit ourselves to the most American of ideals, that all people are endowed with the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Happy Veterans Day, Delaware.

On #VeteransDay, we honor all who have worn our nation’s uniform, and the families who’ve stood beside them.

To our veterans and Gold Star Families: your courage, sacrifice, and strength embody what it means to be an American.

As the only AmeriCorps Governor in the nation, I’m grateful for every member serving Delaware and our country. Their commitment is a powerful reminder of our Delaware values of service, community, and compassion.

My administration will always stand behind those who step up to serve.

This week, we welcomed a new AmeriCorps class and honored Sheryl Hill Dyer’s incredible career of service.

Earlier this week, we increased state funding to the Food Bank of Delaware to help more families get the support they need.

This morning, I joined DART First State and the Food Bank of Delaware at their Stuff the Bus Food Drive to support community members in need — part of our continued effort to make sure no Delaware family goes hungry.

No Delawarean should ever have to wonder where their next meal is coming from.

Congrats to @abigailspanberger.com and @mikiesherrill.bsky.social on their historic victories! Voters in Virginia and New Jersey chose common sense over chaos, and I’m excited to work together to make life better for families up and down the mid-Atlantic.
