Jeremy Epstein Joins Georgia Tech-PNNL Cybersecurity Institute
Jeremy Epstein, a cybersecurity researcher with more than 25 years of industry and government experience, has joined the Institute for Cybersecurity and Resilient Infrastructure Studies (ICARIS).
Excited to announce I'm joining a terrific crew of researchers at Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) as co-director of the ICARIS research center, a GTRI/Pacific Northwest Nat'l Labs program. Staying in the DC area, working with colleagues in Atlanta, Washington State, & around the country.

For something lighter at a very heavy time... Dodge rental car in California shows distance in miles, but fuel economy in km/l & I can't figure out how to change it. Luckily, the formula is pretty easy... Km/l * 2.33 is close to mpg and easy to calculate. We now return you to doomscrolling.

I hope NSF and American science broadly can survive the next few years... The US is giving away decades of leadership in a fit of pique, and it will take decades to recover if ever.

Yesterday was my last day at NSF after more than a decade of service. I'll miss supporting and guiding the cybersecurity research community, and my excellent coworkers.

Once in a lifetime visit to the WH to see Christmas decorations. Not a menorah/hannukiyah in sight, though. Guess the Second Gentleman didn't have a role in decorations.

I find a ream of paper works well for said purpose, and doesn't have splinters. Hypothetically speaking, of course.
