Side note, I’m reading up on the so-called “idealist” view of Revelation—as opposed to the futurist you and I are VERY well aware of—and it has a horoscope view of the series of events, where you could paint modern events to translate into (in part) the first few of the Seals of Judgement.

Hell, I recently jabbed at a Revelation thumper when the Sea of Galilee turning red news broke. Of course he quotes the second bowl of wrath, and I had to remind him that “So we’re forgetting about the Seven Seals and Seven Trumpets? When did the global earthquake or demonic locust horde happen?”

I lately said the same thing recently. Either God does not exist, or he does exist and no longer cares, or does not have the power people claim he has. Nietzsche was quite right in saying that God is dead because of the shifting worldview; only the desperately sinful are trying to restore that.

Indeed. That’s where I’m at right now, and I’m thankful that even just a few people like what I do.

You know what’s more disturbing? There are several artists I follow that are still following users who switched to AI unabashedly. I’ve been wrestling with how to deal with that.

I would argue they are unaware, it all being lost in the algorithm, but something had to get through at this point.

Fry seems like the kind of guy to try to save someone when they go too far, ultimately giving up when he realized she rotted too far. My husband is kind of like that; trying to help people get back on the path of grace, but even he knows when to cut the cord. He had one of his own friends turn TERF.

Incidentally had this happen to me just now. I had just largely finished a lineart and was working on shading, when the puppy warned me that midnight was approaching. Good thing too; I need to catch up on sleep since this will be my first real day off since the operation.
