Thanks! The survey uses the program list technique discussed in Dilliplane et al (2013), which seems better than most though none are perfect. And that’s a good question about timing, I wish they’d asked all these questions in more waves.

My 2025 Nieman Lab prediction: it’s not a reality show anymore. Let’s focus on the limits and trust the public with the institutional context instead of taking our next president at his word. Media coverage matters for policymaking - this is the year to act like it.
