What I decided was that I had two choices: maybe die fast but in love as my true self, or definitely die slowly in sorrow and isolation behind a mask. We all gotta die someday, I would rather live fully and truly, even if some people hate me for it.
I’m not trans, but I am gay (technically Demi/homoromantic) and I didn’t figure out the homoromanticism until my 30s. I remember weeping about it because I knew it was going to make my life harder.

Love them! Human form's a cute bean, is he really as mean as that snarl makes him look, though? I also like seeing another person who gives their true form / human form similar details, like how Shoku's eyes don't change color. I think a tell is a fun detail for a shapeshifter!
