It is honestly really sweet having an ex who still hypes me up by sending job posts she believes in me for, shows up with treats for my wifey and me, and still games with me like we never skipped a beat. Life is weird and beautiful sometimes. Very, very grateful for her friendship.

Studying social media for a living is wild because I can’t scroll without auditing.

Some Olympic winter sports really feel like they were invented by siblings stuck inside during a snow day. “Bet you can’t slide down that hill on a trash can lid.” “Oh yeah? Watch me throw this rock across ice while you aggressively sweep in front of it.” And now… gold medals.

My Winter Olympics training consists of watching Cool Runnings and dramatically saying “feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme” while sitting under a blanket.

Things seem very bleak right now. At least I get to go to Disneyland on Saturday. I need to just walk around my happy place for a few hours and see all my RunDisney friends.

In a horrible turn of events, my wifey got laid off from her job today. We had just gotten back to some normalcy with me having a job. Thanks for the week of peace. Now back to turmoil.

I run over. Turns out she does NOT know what she wants. She just wants me to make it how I know she likes it.

I make the drink. Hand it over.

My coworker leans in and goes, “Well… I guess we know who the pillow princess is.” ☕️💀

My wifey came into my Starbucks and stood at the register while I was working drive thru.

Someone asked for her order and she said, “Oh she knows what I like,” pointing at me.

I’m a recovering evangelical Christian. I’m gay. I take theology seriously, but I refuse to let it override love and sacrifice. Loving God and loving others is the center of my faith, and everything else is secondary.
