I don't know how they did it but Snap, Crackle and Pop (that's what I call them) killed a bird!

How did they do that? Was the bird sleeping on the ground or something?

Ps. my dog is heavily supervised outside now that S,C&P are hanging around.

We have 3 juvenile (delinquent) foxes in my neighbourhood.
They are mischief!

This morning at 6am, my dog alerted us with her intruder alert.

I pop up and say "is it the foxes?"

My dog ran from the window, jumped into my bed and immediately fell asleep! Girl, your shift isn't over!

July was the smokiest month on record in Winnipeg with 189 hours of smoke at the Airport. Temperatures were average, but it was much drier than normal.

It was also the driest January to July on record at the Airport with 126mm of precip. Normal is close to 300mm

Tonight coming home from dog walking we ran into one of our neighbours and she had a small dog carrier with her.

Turns out she is a transition point for a rescue and takes care of the puppies.

Of course we had to have a cuddle.

Last weekend I went to Vancouver for literally less than 48 hours.... it took me 3 days to recover from all the chatting and laughing and walking around.
