At the end, the English localisation seems to have missed the referrence to ep11's title.

About this, what do you think the timeline is for the AK event in regard to the Bandori timeline? I haven't played the game myself, but from what I've read Sakiko doesn't seem to know the truth behind Uika yet, and the Mutsumi presented in AK seems to still be Guitarsumi/Mortis, rather than MutsGPT.

I haven't seen any NonRico for so long, that I'm sure I'm suffering from some kind of deficiency. Halp!

The reason I find this peculiar is because when she reached her lowest point, the one person she reached out to was "Uika". So, I'm quite certain she was in her mind, and that she was important enough for her to call her for help.

So, I wonder if she didn't like sumimi for some reason.

I understand Hatsune not contacting Sakiko due to the whole Togawa problem. But I'm surprised Sakiko herself didn't contact "Uika". I could understand if current Sakiko didn't do it, but I'm surprised the bright Sakiko from back then didn't do it.

Normally, I would think I'm looking too much into it, and that they did keep contact. However, we saw Hatsune go over that one conversation when she told Sakiko about her debut time and time again, and it didn't seem as if there was much more after that.

She's the first person, of perhaps the only one, Hatsune contacted about her debut as an idol. Also, she had known of "Uika's" dream of becoming an idol for several years. Yet I don't think I ever saw her talk about it. In fact, it would seem she hadn't written to "Uika" in a while by S1E1.

Sometimes I wonder if Sakiko ever went to a sumimi concert, or if she followed them at all. From what we know sumimi was formed some time before CRYCHIC was even an idea, but I'm assuming the Sakiko back then was the bright person she was when she was in CRYCHIC.

My impression is that before, they had intimate moments, but they were holding back (reasons being their respective circumstances). Now, they seem more honest with themselves; they still hold themselves back somewhat, but not as much as before. However, they try to reach out to each other even more.

I think Kakimoto also said this about Uika in an interview: "Uika: Possesses an androgynous appearance and a commanding presence capable of embodying Ave Mujica’s world and taking centre stage."

It's from an English translation, so perhaps the Japanese used a different wording, still, there's that.

Looking at it this way, Sakiko does sound a bit like her father, doesn't she?

And then, in the AK Collab, no matter how much Morpheus tried to give Hatsune a nice dream and make her forget, ultimately Hatsune never forgot about her feelings for "that" special someone.

Another question, what's your take on oblivion and Doloris/Hatsune? Do you think it can actually save her? For example, in the Knights lore we saw Oblivionis made her forget several times, but Doloris didn't.
Then, in the Witches drama, same thing, Doloris dispelled Oblivionis' magic with her own.

This is interesting. Can you give your take on why she looked sad and lonely at that moment?

There was no way Manuscriptus was going to do ep11 justice, and could easily screw things up given how many things were left intentionally vague in that episode and in ep12.

That being said, I suppose it will address the Saki face from ep10, which has been subject to debate too.

I think the ugliest part could be that even if she went by a different name, and even if the fact that being "Uika's" sister played in her favour, can you imagine being forever compared to that beast of endless talent that is Misumi "Uika"?

She could join the same club as Sayo and Taki.

I do think, at least, the reading part is real. Hatsune wouldn't be able to write the lyrics she writes for Ave Mujica without being a well-read and well-cultured person. 🙂

I know the Umineko parallels are perhaps a bit overused, but I see Uika being no different to Shannon or Kanon, sure, it's a role, but Hatsune truly becomes Uika, or Doloris, when she plays those roles.

And she also said a blatant lie about some choreography taking her forever to learn, only for Mana to say that Uika actually mastered it instantly.

So while the food she mentioned might be true, it might also be what she thinks people expects her to like, being from Shodoshima.

Now that I think about it, I wonder how much of what she said it's true. For example, when she talked about her hobbies she mentioned movies and books, but no stargazing whatsoever, which could be just to protect her privacy of course. However, she didn't mention coffee amongst the things she likes.

So, it's kinda like a "birds of a feather, flock together". However, the reality is that throughout S2 the members of Mujica were never really united, they hardly had a common goal, and even by the end of the season it's quite debatable if they developed one, and thus now I ponder about this. 😅

So, what about Ave Mujica? We know the name is a mixture of Ave Mujica (Hail Music) and Mujina (badger in Japanese), and Sakiko had referred to themselves as "badgers in a hole". This is a Japanese expression referring to people who appear to be different, but who are accomplices in shady stuff.

Then you have MyGO, which S1 makes abundantly clear how the 5 members were somewhat lost, and still are, but have chosen to be lost together.
For starters we had the 3 former CRYCHICs who had lost their place, then there's Anon who had lost her way, and then Raana who didn't quite fit anywhere.

First, CRYCHIC. There was the "I want to become human" scene at the footbridge in front of Tomori's house.
Tomori's lyrics themselves were/are are scream from Tomori's heart.
And finally, Sakiko's scene with Uika on the ferry, with her screaming her feelings.

Today I was thinking about the band names from MyMuji and how they ultimately had a meaning that played out one way or the other. However, I'm not sure if Ave Mujica's name has played its role.

I really loved how they portrayed exactly this in her AK story.
