With roughly 42 million people across the U.S. losing access to food assistance amid the federal government shutdown, it’s more important than ever to educate ourselves about the realities and impacts of food insecurity in our communities.

Election Day is a day to think about our neighbors and communities. What choices can we make to improve our lives, collectively? For those of us who live in SoCal, or love to visit Disneyland, donating to the local food bank is another action we can take to help. Consider contributing, if you can.
