IN GRAVE DANGER

In a world of nearly
Eight billion human beings
There must be shared beliefs
That define a vision
Of a world free of oppression

Without those shared beliefs
Justice, democracy freedom, thoughts
Homes, homelands, food
Health, nature, air, land
Water and soil are in grave danger

Most people scoffed at the idea of fascism. Not anymore.

I cannot understand how someone who spread so much hatred receives so much love.

Hatred and Guns

You boldly
Espoused hatred
And praised guns
Then abruptly
Stopped talking
In the middle
Of a thought
About hatred
And praising guns
Abruptly instantaneously
Because someone
Heard you

You’re right city and county governments are attacking and displacing them. It’s dehumanizing.

They began with undocumented immigrants and told us they were criminals. Then they declared all immigrants from the Americas, Caribbean Islands, Asia, Africa and Middle East as Illegal. They threatened to uncitizen US citizens. Then they went after anyone brown, even US citizens. Who will be next?
