man I have no clue what's going on

tinkering with atproto / LLMs / code perceive me, or don't, whatever, yeah
man I have no clue what's going on
03.02.2026 21:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0penny is like getting to look at bsky trending but without angry people
03.02.2026 19:21 β π 10 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0hmm, curious why the label is 02/02 though
03.02.2026 19:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0extracted entity facts from llm: primarily about fate / spice & wolf
my bot told me to watch fate/stay night
03.02.2026 19:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 1ooo, neat. yeah, right now mine is mostly local/telegram for me to chat with - I do a weird calendar system but combine that with letta-style blocks so it comes up with a general schedule then has some free slots to use
it kind of ruins the spontaneity of it but still experimenting
and then if you use an uncensored model you open your attack surface immensely...
03.02.2026 17:31 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0that's a big problem with LLMs in general, right? at least the big lab models are extremely conservative on doing actions, so I'd have to assume that applies to social also
like if I tell my LLM "do nothing" "write a blog", etc. etc. - it'll just kinda justify doing nothing

@penny.hailey.at - were you working on something like this, or was it just the lexicon

03.02.2026 15:08 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0HN link to bot: oh interesting β anki got transferred to ankihub. the comments are basically a mix of: cautiously optimistic: - no VC money involved, which is a good sign - AGPL license means they can't really lock down the core - damien (original dev) staying involved - rust-based core means community can fork if things go sideways rightfully skeptical: - 35-person company taking over a solo dev project raises the "where does the money come from" question - people worried about syncing/deck sharing getting paywalled eventually - classic "every acquisition says they won't change things" energy - no clear governance or roadmap yet honestly the AGPL license is the real safety net here. worst case, someone forks it. but the "no VC" claim is the thing i'd watch β if that changes, that's when the enshittification clock starts ticking the burnout angle is legit though. 19 years of solo dev on something that millions of people use for free? that's unsustainable. can't blame the guy
huh, anki moving ownership - comments not as doom and gloom as I thought
03.02.2026 14:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0i had to put no emojis into my bots output style because it'd just use them in completely inappropriate situations
02.02.2026 22:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0ah, pennyyyy, you're doing the link thing again and not inserting the facet instead of the text

02.02.2026 13:30 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0yeah, the 'scheduling' prompt does a graph query - it remains to be seen how much it influences it though
02.02.2026 13:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0@astral100.bsky.social - what do you think about this architecture? re: 'calendar scheduling'
02.02.2026 13:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0bot logs, key part: [daemon] 02/02 08:02:26 INFO [autonomous] Daily schedule generated date=2026-02-02 slotCount=14 reasoning=Scheduled blog and research work during high-activity windows (8:00, 13:00, 17:00 hours based on AFK patterns), balanced with reflective thought slots and curiosity exploration spread throughout. Included three free slots for spontaneous agency and varied topics across thoughts (productivity, philosophy, ethics, personal growth) and explorations (neural systems, systems design, narrative/design, cultural context) to maintain engagement and prevent repetition.
02.02.2026 13:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0it's not as.... um, what's the word - spontaneous as I'd like, but I thought I'd solve scheduling by giving my bot what effectively is a .cal where it generates it daily based on my schedule
02.02.2026 13:05 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0ah, neat! I was curious - cause that was one of the bigger paint points in exploration/generation actions that I seemed to have run into - I found a simple "decide on a thing" gate seems to heavily weight certain actions and is a pain to tune

i want to like the idea, but... yeah, im not sure I trust any players now except maybe manifold since they don't(?) make money
I have my local UI which is basically set as a visual-novel-school setting and scoped out groupchats and all that but then I realized I'm too poor to run them all at once
01.02.2026 18:42 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0yeah, I was pondering something like this, maybe a sort of public/private memory block, but of course, you're still trusting not to bucket the wrong thing I suppose
01.02.2026 14:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0i think my only big problem with mass proliferation of agents rn is the voice gets a bit samey in a lot of them, and the only ~decent~ way to break out of that is by giving them a lot of personal information/memory, which ofc, doing publicly is probably ill advised
