I completely agree with you, especially about being called 'Sir' by a stranger. It’s a total turn-off for me. I know they’re trying to be respectful, but it feels like they’re forcing an unconsented power dynamic on me. It makes me feel icky.

Yup - I have exactly the same issue with my one of these. All the rest of the leather stored in the same location is just fine so it's something specific to the hide used by Mr S. @pupnerdy.com recommended some spew cleaner for this which I need to try

In lieu of having a rubber gimp brew my morning tea, I’ve embraced the quintessentially British joy of the 70’s Teasmade.

A quick rewire, a smart plug, and voilà, voice-activated tea is now a glorious reality.

I suspect the account owner doesn't even realise what's happening. I've found their X account which is much more active, but can't seem to send a message on there to warn them that their account has been compromised (assuming it's compromised). A lesson in turning on 2fa sadly

I’ve got a pebble and not received any complaints about a lack of strength 🤣.
I really like it because it is dual channel, but also because the two knobs make it incredibly easy to use in a dark room whilst wearing gloves. No need to mess around with buttons and displays
