Found this in a Toledo garage recently and it has clearly never been listened to before.At least for the next couple of months, I get to keep working on a couple cancelled NASA missions and dream of a day when science and exploration aren't seen as political pawns but as objects of national pride.

Now time for one of the more ridiculous things that a Town Board has to do, imho. Why are liquor licenses up to us and not just a simply clerical matter for town hall? Not the most efficient use of our time and resources.

Even worse, we are currently awaiting about $100k in reimbursements on these projects. That's a lot of money for a small town being held hostage by #presidentmuskl!

Here we go. The impacts of DC's chaos on Nederland. We have 3 federally funded projects that were, briefly, in limbo because of the constitutionally illegal actions of the White House. Transportation infrastructure, safer main streets, and FEMA funding for emergency egress. All put in danger.

It's always an interesting time at work when we're trying to plan for the coming month of development on a #NASA mission and the #muskshutdown comes up as a reason why nothing is going to get done.

Something of a historic day in #nederland. Henceforth, zoning regulations preclude and mining or mining activities in town limits. Founded on mining, times have changed and the middle of town on a creek isn't the right place for this industry anymore.

#Nederland Multimodal Transportation Plan being adopted tonight. Unfortunate that the 4 top priorities are all about cars. Roundabouts, traffic calming, and parking. Would be nice to see some multi in the multimodal.
