a comic. a possum is rummaging around inside a trash can. It erupts from the can holding something in its paws. “hey!” she says. She holds out the desktop calendar. “Today is June 24th! Look!” She leans on the edge of the trash can. “that means today is make a terrible comic day!” She produces a ballpoint pen from the trash and clicks it. “the idea is to just make something! no rules, just enjoy the act of creation! (Or don’t and just do it anyway)” she is drawing on the cardboard back of the calendar. “tell a story, tell a joke, make something silly or sublime or totally abstract! make something and don’t stop making it until it’s made!” She holds up her little comic with pride. “tell your inner critic to ‘fuck off!’ make a terrible comic!”

I've been thinking about this again.

Vane playing a switch-like game console: "wow!! my minecraft villagers just had a baby! i can't wait!" Turbine, reclining: "can't wait for what? also i'm not interested." Vane: "i don't know, i'm just excited! look." Vane shows Turbine his console, where two villagers are holding a little baby. Turbine makes eye contact with a villager on the screen and feels some kind of recognition.

Finding the animal "Lighthorse", which looks like a lighthouse with legs, and a head made out of transparent cones of light. "Stands at the coastline to act as a beacon, however it has difficulty discerning a puddle from an ocean. said to be proud of its red stripes."

Inside the spaceship, the character Turbine, who is green and has buck teeth, is saying "They say if you love your job, you'll never work a day in your life. Seems I may be the only worker here."

Aw thank you! I used to have green hair, so that felt most fitting at the time. Now my hair is grown out with my natural brown, so I'm partial to that one 💚🤎 Both are good though!

I could not decide which version I liked more. Also! Drawing this made me realize how much I enjoy drawing chubby guys. I've drawn lots of chubby women and nb folks, but not enough guys

This illustration is the same as the previous one, only it has some extra lighting and shading effects. The bottom half of the drawing has some mild blue-ish shading, the top half has some yellow-y lighting, and then there is some pinkish cell shading coming in from the left to indicate a stronger light source.
