I am not fully sure why they do not read as much -just my impression- as previous years, but I can tell from the writing that they do not read the articles fully, often only giving bot summaries. Not true for all, but the dominance of social media as a means of miscommunication is most ironic.

These simplify drastically and normatively, and destroy reading skills. Not true for all, but for sure, reading is out of fashion for a high percentage.

Not necessary now, though they still have kids, it just seems mild compared to the actual news channel. No longer need to make sci fi drama, just use journalism 101 and not even the proper news

I just checked, I've kept 257,456 emails so far (I have deleted lots) mostly commentary on books (of which 5000 actual copies and about the same amount in pdfs). Impossible. The digital is a bust.
