This move shows how Donald Trump is completely out of touch with the world market or that he simply doesn’t care. In either case, this game he’s playing is costing America dearly. #BrianHopkinsforCongress

Business is market driven and reacts.accordingly. If all our your competitors are increasing prices by 25% or more, then why not increase your prices by 10-20%? You still are cheaper, and the cost of your product increases less.

Furthermore this move will cost thousands of jobs. As the prices increase, the demand will decrease. As the demand decreases, the need for employees will decrease. Also, even US manufactured cars will increase.

A large percentage of American brands are made outside the US. They’ve repeatedly said that to move these lines back to the US will take years and cost tens of millions of dollars that would be passed on to the consumer. So, they’ll remain where they are.

Our American dictator #Donald_Trump has just announced a 25% tariff on all automotive imports. This will decimate the American auto industry and is guaranteed to again crash a market that’s already seeing massive crashes as a result of his bad policies.

I am putting together an exploratory committee to look at a potential 2026 Congressional run.

This is very early to look into, but the directions that our country is headed in is very alarming.

This will be a short process with a decision in less than a month.
