I have no memory of this story, and I don’t own a cassette player, so …

I like to think I have a pretty good vocabulary.

However.

I was chatting with Pamela Zietlow Wells and she casually said: “Well, deer are crepuscular, so …”

And I said, “Wait. WHAT?”

So. Did YOU know crepuscular animals are those that are most active at twilight?

Alison has traveled to 22 countries on three continents and written amazing books about animals including one coming out in a few weeks from Godwin Books — WHEN BEAVERS MOVE IN, illustrated by Natasha Donovan.

We’re moving my mom into memory care, which makes me feel sad and nostalgic.

We’ve found great things as we go through her condo - including a holiday letter my mom wrote years ago where she says:

“I also read every chance I get. The library is my friend.”
