Staying at a hotel in Montreal for the night. It cost a lot. The pictures were nice. The pictures were obviously retouched. You can't smell pictures. We did not read the reviews before booking. The bed feels like plywood.

Must do more research when booking hotels in the future.

When I first installed TikTok, I put in my interests: Camping, fishing, hiking, welding, woodworking... and ~25 of my first 30 videos were all far-right extremists "just asking questions".

When I was a kid, we shared a phone line with two neighbouring houses. There were distinctive rings for which house the call was for. Sometimes you'd pick up the phone, the neighbour would be talking to someone.

Telephones were too unimportant to have one line for each house in low density areas.
