I have not always been blessed with community. I have moved 21 times, across 5 states, in 30 years; it took me until my mid-twenties to really develop an understanding of what it means to commit to and be in community in a meaningful way.(2/x)

I've been transitioning jobs and on Friday, I will have gone from 7/25-9/26 without a regular meager check. I ha(d/ve) no savings, two children and pets. I am starting to exhale as pay day approaches, and I've been reflecting on the strength, necessity and privilege of community. (1/x)
