27.02.2025 17:42 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is fantastic news. Congratulations to all the activists who have fought so hard for this for so many years! This means positive transformations not just for Cambridge but for the entire region. If you had a hand in this, cheers.
11.02.2025 04:38 β π 10 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0I canβt believe it - after years of advocacy, exclusionary zoning has ended in Cambridge.
We just passed the single most comprehensive rezoning in the USβlegalizing multifamily housing up to 6 stories citywide in a Paris style
Hereβs the details π§΅
For us grid newbies out there what equipment is being shown in video? just curious from a engineering point of view!

Ping me if you want to see a specific chart created!
- Breakdown by generation type of in-queue capacity
- Breakdown by generation type and power market
- Planned capacity entering the queue in 2023 declined after several years of growth (most of this can be attributed to MISO and CAISO's stopping taking requests)
State of interconnection queues- Jan 2024
At least 1.3 TW of capacity in queues (300 GW currently in operation).
Source: interconnection.fyi aggregates interconnection queue data across all the major RTOS and 20 utilities in the U.S. with daily updates.

no bombardment at all :D appreciate the feedback and thoughts- I'm still learning this space and using this tool as a way to do that :D

22.11.2023 19:20 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0realizing now- is the term "queue" confusing when referring to completed/withdrawn projects?
22.11.2023 19:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This is related to the previous question- there are a decent number of projects who have withdrawn but are still in various ISO queues (usually it's another tab of the spreadsheet they offer). example: www.interconnection.fyi/project/miso...
22.11.2023 19:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0- If you mean "do you have a snapshot in time of what the active queue was like on Jan 1, 2022 (or other date), the answer is no, although I can probably reconstruct it based on completion date and such in the withdrawn and completed/operational project lists
22.11.2023 19:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Good question! I don't know exactly what you mean by old queue:
- if you mean completed projects in the queue- they're there for most of them (see www.interconnection.fyi?status=Opera... and www.interconnection.fyi?status=Withd... for operational projects and withdrawn projects respectively)
thanks for resharing! If anyone has any feedback/feature requests/questions let me know!

I keep reading about how interconnection queues are a big impediment to clean energy deployment. I made a site to track interconnection queues across all the ISOs and a few utilities as well. Data is updated daily.
LMK what you think! interconnection.fyi
