In Canada we got a reprieve on consumer carbon taxes in April first and gas prices dropped significantly. However I expect the prices to creep back up quickly as these companies likely see it as lost profit that consumers were willing to pay before April.

CTV News let go of journalist Rachel Gilmore because her accurate fact checking upset the conservative commenters that also say they never watch liberal biased MSM like CTV. An org that actually leans right in their reporting. They called accurate fact checking a distraction.

A thought as more tarrifs loom. Take this opportunity to remove tarrifs on Chinese car manufacturers by working with them to use Canadian manufacturing capacity, materials and workers to build their North American cars. Improves trade relations, creates jobs and gets new products in to the market.

My first thought for the base was a pile of skulls. Yes of course someone made the model. Remixed "Pile of Skull" by baris.ayarkan on MakerWorld. Scaled it up quite a bit. Did a quick 0.20mm layer height print. To get a general idea. I like it but I have an idea that I think will work better to try.

Been a little stalled on the DIY CNC in terms of the X axis gantry and limit sensing so I don't want to try running any programs through it. But to refresh my inspiration I decided to test planing with manual jogging. Used a casting made with some extra epoxy and it kind of looks like wagyu salmon.
