Using AI to create teaching resources.

Enjoyed delivering some training on using AI to create learning resources this afternoon with colleagues at Belfast Met. Some very useful software out there to help ease our workload.

We were honoured to host Stewart Milk, nephew of the legendary LGBT+ and civil rights campaigner Harvey Milk, at Belfast Met this afternoon. Such an inspiration. 🌈

Delighted to see the motion I brought to council to declare a climate emergency and develop this sustainability plan come to fruition. As chair of the environment and sustainability working group myself and other members laid the foundations for this. www.lisburncastlereagh.gov.uk/w/have-your-...

MLAs could be set to get 37.5% pay rise under new proposals "If MLA salaries are increased in line with Scotland and Wales, that means a 37 per cent pay increase for politicians"

Well done lads for turning up to work for a whole year out of the last three. Have a pay rise. I don’t want any gurning about public sector pay rises after this.

Getting the sense that teachers are going to reject the pay offer, not necessarily because of the money on the table, but because of the language in Minister Givan’s statement. It has been most unhelpful, particularly in relation to the right to take industrial action. #OwnGoal

Let there be light! I have nothing but sympathy and solidarity with anyone still without power in this awful weather, but nevertheless grateful to be able to put on the heat and lights again. Thanks to all the frontline staff who have stepped in to help get things going. 🙏

The wind has been significant since around 4am here in County Down, but it seems to be getting worse as we get closer to 6am. This is a bad storm for sure. #StormÉowyn

Westminster is a check on the exercise of the brake to ensure it is being used appropriately. The history of the executive in recent times has demonstrated that it’s liable to succumb to populist pressure from fringe elements. Thankfully with no election on the horizon this will not cause a crisis.

The TikTok algorithm for some reason sends me ufo content. For the last few days there’s been this hype about a ‘smoking gun’ proving alien tech is here. It dropped last night and I have to say it’s the daftest thing I’ve ever seen 😂

David Lynch, Twin Peaks and Mulholland Drive director, dies aged 78 Film-maker who specialised in surreal, noir style mysteries made a string of influential, critically acclaimed works including Wild at Heart and Eraserhead

No more David Lynch movies. This is terribly sad. What a genius. www.theguardian.com/film/2025/ja...
