🏠 Findings from @healthequals.bsky.social show that more than 1 in 4 people in the UK live in homes with damp, mould or cold, putting their health at risk. In rural areas, older housing, higher fuel costs and off-grid homes make things worse.

Today, Awaab's law came into force.
The new legislation is a step in the right direction in protecting people from living in unhealthy homes.
However, we need to make sure that ALL homes are safe, affordable, accessible, not overcrowded, ventilated & of high quality.
Our data released today has found that 15 million people in the UK live with damp, mould and cold in their homes. 🔴
No one should have to live in a home that damages their health.
