Front view of the wave wolf totem showing the Turquoise california poppy motif carved into it's chest. This piece was done with black and turquoise underglaze. Right side view of the sitting wolf totem showing the gold overglaze details and crescent moon carved into it's back leg White wolf totem in an outstretched, running position done with minimal black underglaze, finished with clear glaze and gold overglaze details such as a crescent moon on it's chest, forehead, and gold California Poppy motifs on it's side. There is also a small, black raven sitting on their back. Front view of a sgraffito white wolf ceramic sculpture with gold overglaze details and my signature California Poppy motif on the side of it's body.

Since it seems all I can sculpt are wolves and tigers at the moment, here's a look at some of the wolves I've made over the past year or so 🐺✨

A close up of ghostly white ferns in a sea of blue. You can really see the texture of the watercolour paper and in the top corner tje shock of indogo blue pencil depictong the stoat’s black tail Here you can see better the curve of that indigo tail as well as the back paw of the stoat. Its always fascinating to see how the brush strokes of cyanotype solution look so close to the pencil lines. It is so hard getting them to stay neat-ish while painting in the dark!

A soat in delicate summer colours leaps over a ghostly white fern. Tail tucked and eyes bright, focused on some hidden prey. Its paws are oversized and chunky and it seems to fly over a sea of cyanotype blue! I had so muxh fun making this! Btw, as a thankyou for reading this far, if you comment with a blueberry emoji I might give you something cool over DM’s smiley face.

This was Part 3 of an experiment in which I tested wether water temperature would make a difference to #cyanotype colours (it didnt for me, but do let me know if you’ve had any other results!!) I think they all came out pretty good! >:3

Details of the spring ermine! The blue sea of cyanotype print looks extra vibrant at this tilted angle. The white sillhouette of the fern in cyanotype is as delicate as lace. A close up of the ermine’s paw. Ermines are also stoats If you didnt know! Thats just their name in their winter coats! In the picture you see the ghostly impression of a fern surrounded in blue. And a delicately drawn outline of a white and brown mottled paw in blue coloured pencil. Yet another shade of blue surrounds thin impressions of ferns in cynaotype. You see the sketched curve of the ermine’s back and in amongst the ferns is a small white heart! Love for wildlife can be found everwhere.
