I got called immature by someone on FB because I commented on a friend’s post about JK Rowling by stating reading her works was no longer worth it to me because of her anti-trans opinions. Told it was immature to not allow for differences in opinion & that I shouldn’t allow for hate & vileness. WTF

I am still processing this absolutely stunning novel. It was a rec by @1maconleigh.bsky.social and as usual she was spot on. I asked for epic. I asked for something that would tear me apart and put me back together. Delivered.
I turned off my Kindle and my light around 1AM, which is early for me. I was happy that I was tired enough to be going to sleep “early” despite taking my meds late. Less than an hour later my body decided it was done with its nap and woke me up with a hot flash. 🔥😕
I adored The Goodmans, so I’m confident that I will enjoy this.

30 books in 31 days. Gave myself an extra day in September because of the High Holy Days. Some great, some ok, some frickin’ fantastic. All worth the time.
