Hey academics, do you have recommendations for books that assist with dissertation advising? I found ones for doctoral students but I want to improve my skills in guiding them through it. Thank you! #academicsky #phdchat
Oh I am. My university has stayed pretty on top of things so I'll check with our research dean. We're also using OCR data but I already downloaded that.
My students and I are collecting NCES data right now so we can finish a study. It's spring break so I can't ask them to drop everything and finish. I don't even know who's in town.
Thank you, @senatorheinrich.bsky.social and @lujan.senate.gov

We all saw this coming.
I cite YRBSS data in my research and in presentations. I am angry.
(I realize this may mean no data collection for the next 4 years but I would still like access to what we already have)
Do we know if anyone stored the YRBSS data? I use it to keep up with youth mental health trends.
Better than cocaine and breakup.

Nice lyric reference.
If you see this post, quote with a bridge from your gallery.
I have a group of students who are extremely interested in this topic and are familiar with OCR data. Can't wait to share it with them!
If “mass deportation” was good for American communities, the Trump team would be planning raids as rewards for Republican-leaning places. Farms in Texas, meat processing plants in Iowa or Indiana, construction sites in South Carolina. Not planning raids to punish Democratic-leaning Chicago.
See below for a study being conducted by a student in my department!
