The second group of 6x F-22As is now flying across the Atlantic to Lakenheath.

I suspect all 12 F-22As will move to the Middle East together tomorrow.

The initial plan for limited strikes was crippled by the extremely harsh crackdown on the protesters. Had the protests still had the momentum of the 9th/10th, even limited strikes could have had a major impact.

Given the situation now, a large air campaign will be needed.

The video also shows that the agent who fired the shots drew his weapon as the other agent, wearing a grey jacket, removed the victim’s handgun from the holster in his waistband.

The agent grabs his arm, startling him and causing him to fire one round. After being shot, the victim attempts to get up and is able to do so because the other agents release him, having also been startled. The shooting agent then fires rounds two, three, and four at the victim.

🧵The final agent to enter the frame approaches the agent who fired the shots from behind. During this approach, he accidentally grabs the other agent’s left arm. This leads the agent to believe that someone is trying to grab his weapon, causing him to discharge the first shot.

The officer in the grey jacket enters the altercation unarmed, reaches over the man as others hold him down and then walks away with a pistol in his hand.

It appears that this officer managed to disarm the suspect prior to the first shots.

Immediately after the first shots, the officer can be seen some distance from the man, but the bottle of mace is seen dropping at the feet of the man.

There is the possibility that the man attempted to (and possibly succeeded in) grabbing the bottle of mace.

Another officer wearing a coyote colored beanie is armed with a bottle of mace in his right hand. Just prior to the shooting in screenshot 2 he can be seen beating the man with the bottle of mace several times.

Immediately after the first shots, the officer's scatter and the initial shooter fires several more rounds while backing up, as the man is lying motionless on the ground.

First shots were fired by this officer as the person attempts to get back to his feet. The shots were fired into the man's back from the officer as seen in screenshot 2.

The funniest part of the “we need Greenland to defend the Arctic from Russia” argument is that the U.S. already has a far more practical and effective way to limit Russia’s threat, and it is actively choosing not to use it.
