Watched the 60s Bible film last night. Not religious AT ALL but i love the old school religious epics. They feel more like "Hey man look at how cool the Bible was" then "please join my megachurch"

I was in midtown election night 2008. Everyone was out drinking and celebrating. I remember Obama said "I did promise change but I cant do it alone" and in midtown that fell ON DEAF EARS. So many of my liberal friends thought their job was done when they hit a lever in 2008. And here we are.
I was not prepared for the marvel war comics of the 50s which features stories in which soldiers are shooting children and a story that shows what would happen if the US GOVERNMENT KILLED EVERYONE IN INGLEWOOD and panels and panels of dead kids.

I have a feeling the lantern series is going to end with Hal as a villian and the main comics are going to turn him heel again. Between how he was treated in absolute and the shit he says in the trailer I feel like they are going to undue rebirth.
This was a really well done crossover. The moment Frank finds the Betty loves Archie engraving in the school is one of my favorite punisher moments. Its a haunting moment they should try to replicate on the show.
Watching the transformers movie from 86. Animation is beatiful but man this falls apart after Optimus dies.

It was like the only time wwe earnestly and respectfully kept the spirit of an indy wrestlers gimmick and based on the reaction they'll probably never do that again.
I actually think Bruce is the guy who backed him along with punk. Bruce likes this wacky shit. Hes probably pitching Wardlow coming in as his long lost brother.
The problem is newer fans won't engage with the older stuff. I made a female modern fan watch survivor series 89 and she HATED it. I asked her months later to watch a 96 show she said ABSOLUTELY NOT and she watches Raw and Dynamite every week.
I mean it was the only time I watched peacock and due to the commercials on super tape vol 1 I wound up watching their og stuff like poker face. I think folks like me made it worth it.
