magik is a lesbian. because straight girls don’t fret over how 3 of the 5 bloodstones that comprise their soul have been corrupted or worry that it means they are destined to be evil. this just doesn’t happen to them
they’re doing all those variant covers using the design template from the original event and im like yes this exactly what i want, covers where the illustration takes up only half the cover and the rest is a solid red 🥴

this is one of the first things i learned when i started writing fanfiction in high school 😂 to be fair, i haven’t been reading much fanfiction recently, so maybe the conventions have changed. but i think it’s more likely that this guy just doesn’t know what he’s talking about
that article speculating that romance readers prefer reading novels in first person bc they’re used to fanfiction is so bizarre bc if you are at all familiar with fanfiction you will know that fanfic stories in first person are uncommon and that many readers will refuse to read them!
